Re-Election Update…
I am now well into my re-election campaign and I want to extend my sincere thanks to everyone who has wished me success for May 1st. A special thank you to the residents of Durrington who have been so supportive whether by helping to deliver my leaflets or by sharing their encouragement. Your backing means a great deal.
Every day, I’m out speaking with local people, listening to their ideas and concerns. If you see me around please don’t hesitate to stop for a chat; your views matter and I am here to represent you.
I have recently posted articles on three fantastic voluntary organisations
· Durrington Amateur Dramatics
· Durrington Link
· Durrington Day Centre.
These groups provide huge benefits to our community and I want to extend my heartfelt thanks to them and to all the organisations that make Durrington such a great place to live. I have also included a short article about hedges and trees and potential draw backs for our community when planting them.
Let’s hope the weather improves soon and that those cursed potholes finally get fixed! If you see a pothole with a white ring around it, rest assured, I have already reported it, escalated the issue, and even had the Wiltshire Highways Engineer on-site with me to highlight residents' frustration at the lack of action. It’s no surprise that the bad weather has taken such a toll on our roads, but it simply isn’t good enough. Drivers, please be cautious; let’s all stay safe!
