More Funding for Drone Development

It’s always promising to see money being investested into new areas of UAV development. SwissDrones has successfully closed a Series B funding round, raising over USD 10 million from investors including DiamondStream Partners, Chevron Technology Ventures, and Ingleside Investors. The funds will enhance SwissDrones' integrated aerial intelligence solutions, which combine long-range unmanned helicopters, aviation-grade flight operations, and large-scale data analytics for applications in public safety, reconnaissance, and infrastructure inspection. CEO Ulrich Amberg expressed excitement about the new partnerships, aiming to expand globally and meet market demand. Chevron's Jim Gable highlighted SwissDrones' potential to improve data efficiency, cost, and worker safety in field operations.
