Durrington Indoor Short Mat Bowls

Hi Everybody,

We are Durrington Short Mat Bowls Club, who play indoor bowls in the village hall Monday evenings 7 – 10p.m. and Thursday afternoons 2 – 5p.m., eleven months of the year. We have a game, stop for tea and biscuits and then have another game.

We are quite a small club and usually get about 10 to 16 people per session of mixed ages and all abilities.

We are always looking for new members, whether you have played before or not. If you have never tried it, come along and have a go, we are all very friendly and can soon help you to get the hang of it. You don’t have to worry, you will soon see that not all our bowls go the right way either, to say the least.

It won’t cost you anything to come and meet us and have a go, and if you like it and want to join us it’s only £3 a session (including the tea and biscuits)
